There are no words to express my sadness over the loss of my longtime companion. Ralph was my friend, my bed partner, my source of laughter, my constant shadow. Thirteen wonderful years were shared between us that will never be forgotten.
We returned home to pick him up from boarding over the course of our trip to find him in rapidly failing health. There was no choice but to put and end to his needless suffering. May he find peace and happiness in another place.
Ralph, I hope where you are is filled with sunshine, grassy fields, squeaky cows to fetch endlessly, and an overflowing treat jar with your name on it.

Awwww. That brought tears to my eyes and of course, I remember losing my own precious border collie 7 years ago when she was almost 15. I'm so sorry for your loss.
Oh Lisa - I am so very sorry. Losing a pet is one of the hardest things in the world. I've always thought that the saying about a friend being someone who knows all about and loves you anyway was the best way to describe a dog.
Oh Lisa I am so sorry. I have been in your shoes and cried for days. We are real close to getting my Mom a doggie companion for Christmas. xo Lynn I have no idea why you couldn't access my blog. Weird
I'm so sorry for you loss. These little guys are such important members of our families, it hurts so much to let them go.
Just a reminder that tomorrow is the draw for the amethyst and diamond earrings. Make sure you are following me, I didn't see menopausal new mom on your blog roll. I want to make sure I can include you in the draw.
Thanks,
Deb
